We love the Peugeot 3008, even if it’s not the most practical SUV around. The insane leasing deals available on this car may be enough to convince yo though.

A lot of family SUVs look pretty samey these days, but that’s not something you can level at the Peugeot 3008.

You’re bound to turn heads in this striking family car, but it’s more than just a pretty face. There are loads of reasons to consider buying a 3008, and it’s made even more appealing by the great leasing deals you can get through Carwow.

Why we love the Peugeot 3008

We’ve talked enough about the styling – there’s more to the Peugeot 3008 than just its looks. It has a fabulous interior which not only looks like something out of a Sci-Fi movie, but which has the build quality to match German alternatives like the Volkswagen Tiguan.

There are plenty of great engines on offer, including a frugal yet punchy 1.2-litre petrol hybrid which will return well over 50mpg in the real world. There are also electric and plug-in hybrid versions on offer, so you’re covered regardless of which powertrain you prefer.

You get plenty of standard equipment, too. All cars get a 10.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, automatic high beams, heated seats and lane-keeping assist.

Peugeot 3008 lease deals: pay just £238 per month*

The Peugeot becomes even more appealing when you check out this deal we’ve found through Carwow.

You can get a new 3008 for just £238.15 per month with a £3,152.80 deposit. This is on a 48-month contract, with a mileage limit of 5,000 per year.

Need to go further? You can up the limit to 8,000 per year and still pay just £270.18 per month, and this is with a £3,592.15 deposit over 48 months.

These great prices are on the Allure model with the excellent 1.2-litre hybrid engine. Even though this isn’t the high-end GT model it still looks just as sporty and comes with all the kit we mentioned above.

Things to consider before buying a Peugeot 3008

While the 3008 is a great car, it’s not perfect. If you’re looking for the most spacious SUV on the market, this isn’t it. That sporty sloping roofline eats into rear headroom, and legroom isn’t great either.

That infotainment system also isn’t the easiest to use, and you have to operate pretty much everything through it. The customisable shortcut buttons, called i-Toggles in Peugeot speak, do make it easier to access the functions you use most often, but a Skoda Karoq’s interior is easier to use.

Peugeot 3008 alternatives

Small gripes aside, the Peugeot 3008 is a great family car if you want something stylish, premium and affordable.

Still not convinced? Here are a few alternatives to consider.

Citroen C5 Aircross

The Citroen C5 Aircross took home the Family Values prize at the 2026 Carwow Car Of The Year Awards thanks to its super-comfy ride, spacious cabin and generous standard equipment.

It’s still very new on the market, so leasing prices are quite a bit higher than the Peugeot at the moment. Keep an eye out for deals on this car though, because we’d recommend the C5 Aircross over the 3008 when the deals start rolling in.

MG HS

If value for money is top priority, the MG HS is hard to beat. It’s dirt cheap, generously equipped and pretty nice inside, although it doesn’t have the same premium image as the Peugeot, nor is it as nice to drive.

Nissan Qashqai

If you’re after a no-nonsense, comfortable, economical and well-equipped family car, the Nissan Qashqai is well worth considering. It does have a smaller boot than the Peugeot though.
