The Signature S Nav model includes the same basic equipment as the Signature Nav trim, this includes a panoramic sunroof, dual zone climate control, a seven-inch touchscreen display for the Bluetooth compatible infotainment system and a Bose sound system. Black leather upholstery and heated front seats with electrical adjustment for the driver are now fitted as standard, however.

A hands-free parking function, blind spot warning system, a rear facing camera and parking sensors are also fitted to the top-of-the-range Kadjar at no extra cost. All this additional equipment would, if specified as optional extras, cost £1,750. The new Signature S Nav model costs just £1,400 more than the Signature Nav model, saving customers £350.

The biggest change for this new trim level is the option of a seven-speed automatic dual-clutch gearbox. Buyers will be able to specify this £1,200 option on 1.2-litre petrol models – It promises to perform smoother gear changes than a conventional manual gearbox without any change to fuel economy or CO2 emissions figures.

The Kadjar Signature S Nav will be priced from £23,695 for 1.2-litre petrol models with a manual gearbox, up to £28,195 for a four-wheel drive diesel version.
