The 10 cars with the best infotainment systems, according to 100,000 drivers

July 09, 2026 by

The 2026 Driver Power survey asked 100,000 drivers to rate their cars’ infotainment systems, and these 10 models came out on top.

Most modern cars are equipped with an infotainment system, which combines many in-car features through a screen in the dashboard. These keep you and your passengers informed and entertained, letting you see your route in real-time or change music on the fly.

But which cars have the best infotainment system? To find out, we looked at responses from over 100,000 drivers in the 2026 Driver Power survey.

Here are the 10 cars with the best infotainment, as voted by you:

  1. BMW 2 Series
  2. Tesla Model 3
  3. Nissan Juke
  4. Ford Kuga
  5. BMW 1 Series
  6. Tesla Model Y

1. BMW 2 Series – 90.43%

Taking the top spot for its infotainment system is the BMW 2 series, which also ranked the second best car overall in this year’s Driver Power survey. We agree with drivers that this car has one of the best infotainment of any carmaker. You get a 14.9-inch display on the dashboard that has sharp graphics and responds quickly to your inputs, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for easy smartphone integration.

2. Tesla Model 3 – 90.06%

Claiming second place is the Tesla Model 3. This electric saloon has a battery range of up to 466 miles on a single charge, with its interior being a masterclass in minimalism. Its 15.4-inch central infotainment touchscreen does absolutely everything, from running your maps and media to displaying your driving information.

Drivers praised the Model 3’s infotainment for its responsiveness and ease-of-use, with one owner saying they liked the car for its “great technology”.

3. Nissan Juke – 88.04%

The Nissan Juke rounds out the podium. All versions of the Juke are equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen system that’s clear, bright and responsive. Drivers also rated it highly for its responsiveness.

The Juke’s infotainment system also comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay – allowing you to seamlessly run your phone apps through the screen, but we think the car’s native menus are a tad confusing.

4. Ford Kuga – 87.75%

The Ford Kuga may have missed out on the podium, but it’s still highly rated by owners for its infotainment. The Kuga comes with a 13.0-inch touchscreen as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. We do, however, find the Ford software is a bit tricky to navigate. Still, Kuga owners still liked the infotainment for its impressive, good-sized screen.

5. BMW 1 Series – 87.73%

Making the top five is another BMW model: the 1 Series. This posh hatchback comes with a 10.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system as standard, and owners liked it because it’s easy to use, bright and responsive, and gives them the option to use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto most of the time.

6. Tesla Model Y – 87.09%

Next up is the Tesla Model Y. This electric SUV, which gives you up to 378 miles on a single charge, comes with a 15.4-inch display that owners think is hyper-responsive. Yes, you can’t connect your phone via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, but owners aren’t fussed about this as they can use Bluetooth to stream music on Spotify and there’s Google Maps built into the system.

7. Vauxhall Grandland – 86.19%

Vauxhall Grandland owners rate this practical family SUV highly for its infotainment. Its GS and Design trims come with a 16.0-inch infotainment display in the centre. Owners liked it as it’s easy enough to find your way around menus. That said, we find there’s some lag to your inputs that can be mildly annoying.

8. Audi A4 – 86.11%

Also making it into the top 10 is the Audi A4. This executive saloon comes with a 10.0-inch infotainment display as standard with all the navigation and smartphone-mirroring mod-cons you could ask for. Owners liked the A4’s infotainment system for its easy use and responsiveness.

9. Vauxhall Mokka – 86.08%

Vauxhall Mokka owners also rated it quite highly for its infotainment system. This small and stylish SUV comes with a twin-screen setup, with two 10.0-inch displays for the infotainment system and instruments.

Owners liked it for the fact that you get wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which is useful for bypassing most of Vauxhall’s setup. They also liked that there are physical controls for some functions, such as climate settings.

10. BMW 5 Series – 85.71%

Rounding out our top 10 is the BMW 5 Series: the third model from the German manufacturer to make it into this list. This upmarket saloon has a huge 14.9-inch touchscreen that comes with crystal clear graphics.

While we think there are too many settings and menus, which can be difficult to navigate, owners liked the 5 Series’ infotainment for the fact that it’s very quick to respond to touch and that Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connect seamlessly and use up the whole screen.
