Save over £13,000 on a Peugeot E-208*

The Peugeot E-208 is a compact electric hatchback that is an alternative to the Mini Cooper Electric, MG4 and Cupra Born. Its small footprint makes it ideal for city driving, while sharp styling details like Peugeot’s ‘triple-claw’ LED lights and diamond-cut alloys give it plenty of character.

The cabin feels premium, with quality materials and a crisp 10.0-inch touchscreen, though the position of the driver’s seat won’t suit everyone. Space is also limited: rear seats are tight and the 311-litre boot lags behind the MG4 and Cupra Born, though it’s roomier than the Mini Cooper Electric.

Two versions are available: a 50kWh battery with 136hp or a 54kWh version with 156hp, the latter being the better choice thanks to improved efficiency and range. Around town the E-208 is agile and easy to drive, though alternatives are more engaging on twisty roads.

The Peugeot e-208 usually starts at £28,210, but you can get it through Carwow from £19,168. This biggest saving is on the GT Premium model, with £13,057 off at the time of writing, which gives you 217 miles of range, a 10.0-inch touchscreen, 17-inch wheels, and heated front seats.

Lease a Vauxhall Frontera Electric from £222 per month*

The Vauxhall Frontera Electric is a compact SUV that prioritises value and practicality. It offers generous headroom, excellent rear legroom, and one of the largest boots in its class. While the cabin materials feel budget-friendly, the strong equipment list more than makes up for it.

On the road, the Frontera is comfortable and composed, if not especially exciting. A 44kWh battery powers a 113hp motor for a claimed 186-mile range – adequate for daily use.

Few EVs offer this mix of space and affordability. Alternatives are either smaller for similar money, such as the MG4, or much pricier if you want comparable interior room, such as the Hyundai Kona Electric. That balance makes the Frontera Electric a compelling choice for families on a budget.

You can lease a Vauxhall Frontera Electric GS from £222 per month (initial payment: £2,344.92) on a 48-month, 8,000-mile-per-year deal. It comes with a black styling pack for the exterior, 17-inch wheels, front and rear parking sensors, and privacy glass.

Save over £10,300 on a Toyota bZ4X*

The Toyota bZ4X looks sharp, especially from the front, and the cabin feels solid with funky-looking fabrics on the dashboard. Space is generous for passengers front and back, though the small steering wheel can block the digital display, and the middle rear seat feels a little cramped.

Practicality is mixed. The 452-litre boot is smaller than alternatives and interior storage is a bit awkward – there’s no glove box, for example. On the plus side, most trims get a slick 12.3-inch touchscreen, with wireless Apple CarPlay as standard.

On the road the bZ4X is comfortable, quiet, and easy to drive long distances thanks to adaptive cruise control. The 204hp front-wheel-drive model offers the best range, close to 300 miles in real use, and fast charging gets you from 10-80% in about half an hour.

The Toyota bZ4X usually starts at £36,995, but you can get it through Carwow from £31,440. This biggest saving is on the Vision model, with £10,373 off at the time of writing, which gives you 258 miles of range, 20-inch wheels, ventilated and heated front seats, and blind spot monitoring.

Lease a Renault Scenic E-Tech from £297 per month*

The Renault Scenic is a sleek electric SUV alternative to the likes of the Skoda Elroq, Peugeot E-3008 and Kia EV3. With slim headlights, a bold grille and wide-set rear lights, it stands out as one of the more stylish options in the class.

Inside, it’s simple but functional. The infotainment system is slick, there’s plenty of storage, generous rear space, and a big 545-litre boot – though some cheap materials show through and there’s no front boot like in the Ioniq 5.

There are two battery and motor combinations, with the entry level version offering a respectable range of 260 miles, while the larger battery can go up to 379 miles between charges – that makes it one of the longest-range electric cars on sale.

You can lease a Renault Scenic E-Tech Techno from £297 per month (initial payment: £2,959.45) on a 48-month, 8,000-mile-per-year deal. It comes with 19-inch wheels, a 12.0-inch multimedia system with built-in Google and Arkamys Auditorium audio, as well as a heat pump that helps to stop your range decreasing too rapidly in cold weather.

Save over £8,000 on a Citroen e-C4 X*

The Citroen e-C4 X is an unusual electric car that blends SUV-like ride height, a coupe-style silhouette, a saloon-style boot, and the price of a family hatchback.

Its unique shape means direct alternatives are limited. Budget options such as the MG4 or electric SUVs such as the Kia EV3 exist, and there are more luxurious saloons such as the BMW i5 or Tesla Model 3, but few match the e-C4 X’s combination of style and practicality.

Inside, the cabin is simple, practical, and well-built, with plenty of physical controls for ease of use. It also has a large infotainment screen and digital dials, giving it a more refined feel while keeping it surprisingly classy for the price.

The Citroen e-C4 X starts at £28,715, but you can get it through Carwow from £21,684, with £8,031 off the Plus trim. This version has up to 222 miles of range, a 10.0-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a rear view camera with 360-degree view.
