Mat’s chosen the Ferrari 296 GTB today. It has a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine, mated to an electric motor producing a combined 830hp and 740Nm of torque. This is sent to the real wheels only via an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The Ferrari weighs in at 1,470kg and it’ll cost you £241,550.
Next up we have the McLaren 765LT. It has a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine with 765hp and 800Nm of torque, no fancy-pants hybrid system here. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed automatic gearbox, and the McLaren tips the scales at 1,339kg. It’s also the most expensive car here, costing £280,000.
Finally, let’s take a closer look at the Porsche 911 GT2 RS. It has a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged flat-six engine pumping out 700hp and 750Nm of torque. It’s rear-wheel-drive, just like the other two cars, and it has a seven-speed automatic gearbox. The 911 comes in at 1,470kg and it costs £207,506.
