Renault has spruced up the Clio supermini with the addition of a new styling option. Dubbed the GT Line Look Pack, it adds sportier touches to the Ford Fiesta and Peugeot 208 competitor, with the changes available on both the Dynamique MediaNav and Dyanamique S MediaNav models.
Buyers have a choice of both the 0.9-litre turbo petrol or the 1.5-litre diesel, each putting out 90 horsepower. The changes are purely cosmetic, with both models gaining anthracite-coloured alloy wheels (16-inch for the Dynamique, 17-inch for Dynamique S) and door mirrors painted in the same shade, sports bumpers front and rear, LED daytime running lights and a chrome exhaust tip.
The inside receives similar sporty alterations, with touches of grey on the door handles and armrests replacing the previous black finish, matt chrome replacing the formerly-shiny chrome bits, and a whiter hue for the interior lighting for a “more modern” ambience.
Similar changes have taken place throughout the Clio range, with matte trim replacing what was formerly chrome. Meanwhile, Renault has added the option of a rear parking camera for the GT Line model which adds £250 to the asking price, which may be worth if if you regularly nip into tighter-than-average parking spaces
Prices start at £14,895 for the petrol powered GT Line Look – £400 extra than the regular Dynamique MediaNav. The changes are available on all Clio models immediately.
