Mat Watson races a Lamborghini Revuelto against two bonkers tuned cars – which will win?

What will happen in a drag race between a Lamborghini Revuelto, a BMW M140i and an Audi S3?

Seems like a pointless exercise, right? Well the BMW and the Audi are far from standard. Let’s take a closer look at all the cars.

Tuned BMW M140i

The BMW M140i usually has a 3.0-litre turbocharged straight-six engine with 340hp and rear-wheel drive. That’ll never be enough to beat a Lamborghini though, so this one has been fettled.

The engine has been increased to 3.4 litres and it has a bigger turbo. The result is 1,200hp in low-boost mode, and a whopping 1,600hp in its most extreme setting. It also has a whopping 1,500Nm of torque, as well as an all-wheel drive conversion, and it weighs 1,475kg.

Tuned Audi S3 Saloon

As standard, this Audi S3 had a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 300hp and four-wheel drive. However, this one has had a 3.2-litre turbocharged V6 crammed under the bonnet.

It puts out 950hp and 900Nm of torque, and the car weighs in at 1,600kg. That should be enough to give it a fighting chance against the Lambo.

Lamborghini Revuelto

The Lamborghini Revuelto is powered by a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 engine, which is assisted by three electric motors. Combined, it puts out 1,015 hp and 1,065Nm of torque.

The car weighs in at 1,872kg, and it costs an eye-watering £500,000. That’s £390,000 more than the BMW, and it’s £430,000 more than the Audi.
