The cheapest all-wheel-drive model is the Comfort Blue with a 115hp diesel engine, which will cost you £19,645. Top-spec Prestige Blue versions with the same 115hp diesel engine and all-wheel drive cost £20,845.

New 2022 Dacia Duster design

The front of the refreshed Duster now adopts the styling changes already seen in the new Sandero and Sandero Stepway models. It gets new headlights, Y-shaped daytime running lights and a chromed radiator grille.

LED indicators (a first for Dacia) and LED dipped beams are now standard, while the Duster’s aerodynamic performance is claimed to have been improved thanks to a redesigned rear spoiler and new 16- and 17-inch ally wheels.

New 2022 Dacia Duster interior

The interior has received a more comprehensive makeover. The seats are covered in a new type of upholstery, the headrests are slimmer and there is a new centre console. It comes with a retractable armrest with a spacious storage compartment and USB charging ports for passengers in the rear.

A new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system can be had with and without navigation. It supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and has voice recognition features. Four-wheel drive versions get a 4×4 Monitor which incorporates an altimeter, inclinometer and compass. Higher spec models also get a digital climate control display, heated front seats and keyless entry.

The improvements to the Duster’s aerodynamics pay dividends when it comes to efficiency, further enhanced by low friction wheel bearings and the availability of a new 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The base 90hp 1.0-litre and 130hp 1.3-litre turbo petrol powerplants are available with two-wheel drive and a six-speed manual transmission, while the more powerful 150hp is the only model paired with the new 6-speed automatic.

The 100hp TCe 100 Bi-Fuel powerplant now has a larger LPG tank which increases its range by over 155 miles to 767 miles in total. It too is available solely in two-wheel drive form and a 6-speed manual. If you plan to head off-road then the 115hp diesel engine is available with four-wheel drive and is equipped with adaptive hill descent control.
