The Skoda Karoq may have been around for a while now, but I still reckon it’s the perfect family SUV if you just want something to get you from A to B in a fuss-free manner.
It’s an affordable option as well. Prices start from just under £31,000, and you can save an average of over £2,800 on a new Karoq through Carwow.

I found used Skoda Karoqs for sale on Carwow for as little as £13,000. That’s almost 60% off compared to a new one. Granted, that car had the weedy 1.0-litre engine, but it’s still a steal at that price.
I would spring for one with the 1.5-litre petrol engine and an automatic gearbox, because it’s powerful enough, economical and relaxing to drive. A quick search uncovered a 2020 model with less than 70,000 miles on the clock for £16,400.
It’s in Sport Line trim, which means you get some added trinkets to make it stand out. There are larger alloy wheels, a more aggressive-looking bodykit and sports seats inside.
Why should you buy a used Skoda Karoq?
It’s just a great all-rounder. The Karoq isn’t flashy in any way, and it won’t get a petrolhead’s heart racing, but it just goes about daily driving duties with no fuss.
It’s comfortable to drive, cheap to run and really spacious inside. You can also get sliding rear seats for added flexibility, and the boot is massive.
