The new Audi Q3 is coming soon, and it’s been spotted out on the road

Car changing is a big deal
The new Audi Q3 is going on sale next year to replace the ageing model that came out in 2018.

This is the new Audi Q3, and it’s an alternative to the BMW X1 and Mercedes GLA which will go on sale next year. This small SUV is sporting an all-new look, however the current car’s range of engines is likely to remain.
The interior will probably be given a radical overhaul to bring it up to date, with a similar design to the new Q5 to be expected.
When will I be able to buy the new Audi Q3?
The new Audi Q3 is likely to be revealed in early 2025, with the first cars hitting UK tarmac in the spring.
There’s no word on pricing yet, however a small increase over the outgoing car is to be expected. A figure close to £40,000 is a safe bet.
New Audi Q3 design
Carwow’s spy photographers have managed to capture the new Audi Q3 out on the road wearing a very thin disguise, so you can get a good look at this SUVs new design.
Starting up front, you can see that the headlights will have a similar split design to the recently-revealed Q5 – with the main beams being neatly hidden in the bumper. It’s more aggressive-looking than the car it replaces as well thanks to a wider grille and larger air intakes.
The wheels fitted to this car suggest that it’s a sporty S Line version, and it appears to be ever so slightly longer than the current Q3 which should be good for interior space.
Moving to the rear of the car there’s a similar tail light design to the larger Q8 e-tron; they don’t appear to resemble the Q5’s, and there’s a full-width light bar across the tailgate. A Q3 Sportback is also on the cards with a sloping coupe roofline.
New Audi Q3 interior and infotainment
There are no official pictures of the new Audi Q3’s interior just yet, however it’s likely to get a similar design to the new Audi Q5’s.
This hasn’t been confirmed, however the Q5 does feature Audi’s new cabin which is shared across all models. Expect to see a similar curved infotainment display and swoopy dashboard.
New Audi Q3 engines
Audi has committed to going electric-only in the next few years, so it’s unlikely to be developing any new petrol or diesel engines for the Q3.
The current car is available with a 1.5-litre or 2.0-litre petrol engine, as well as a 2.0-litre diesel. These are likely to be carried over with Audi’s latest 48-volt mild hybrid tech boosting efficiency.
