See why this posh SUV with off-road ability should be on your radar, with over £6,500 off if you buy one new through Carwow.

This SUV is chic and stylish, yet tough enough to handle rough terrain when needed. I’m talking, of course, about the Range Rover Evoque, and you can currently get over £6,500 off a plug-in hybrid of its top-spec version when you buy one new through Carwow. But why is this a good bargain? I’m here to tell you why.

Remember, you can buy a brand new or used car right here on Carwow. And you can also sell your car, too. We’re here to help you through every step of your car-changing journey.

Save over £6,500 on a Range Rover Evoque*

The Evoque’s top-spec version, Autobiography, has an RRP of £55,540, but you can get this particular version through Carwow from £51,810. This biggest savings are on the plug-in hybrid version, with £6,575 off at the time of writing. Not only does this give you four-wheel drive, but this version is also kitted out with a panoramic sunroof, four-zone climate control, 24-way heated and cooled seats, a 360-degree camera and a Meridian stereo.

Why consider the Range Rover Evoque?

The Range Rover Evoque is generally quite lovely. It has slim, sleek headlights, a narrow grille, and a few sharp lines make for a nice clean styling – it’s ideal if you like a minimalist aesthetic.

Storage up front is also plentiful, with loads of adjustment in the driving position. As for room in the back, rear seat passengers get reasonable space, and the boot is well on par with alternatives with up to 472 litres of space.

Looking for a diesel? Well, you’re in luck because the Evoque still includes diesel options. But there’s also the option for a mild hybrid petrol and plug-in hybrid. You’ll also enjoy long runs in the Evoque as it’s extremely comfortable and refined, but it does have the tendency to jiggle and jolt you around at low speeds. That being said, it’s perfectly capable of humiliating much larger cars off-road thanks to its four-wheel drive and glut of off-road tech.

Alternatives to the Range Rover Evoque

Prefer something else? Here are three other electric options:

  • BMW X2: Has a big, practical boot which trumps the Evoque, but it’s got a touchscreen-driven interior which can be a faff.
  • Audi Q3: Smooth petrol engines and great hybrid but there’s plasticky interior in places.
  • Mercedes GLA: It’s got a brilliant infotainment system but the boot is smaller than alternatives.
