Why consider the Peugeot E-5008?
I’d recommend the Peugeot E-5008 because it’s one of the few seven-seater electric SUVs that doesn’t come with such a hefty price tag, but it’s also super stylish. It’s one of the most striking cars on sale, thanks to its crisp lines, sharp corners and enormous grille, giving it great road presence.
The E-5008 is incredibly practical too. There’s lots of storage around the cabin and plenty of space across the front two rows. That being said, the third-row isn’t all that spacious – ideal if you have children. But, with the third row of seats stowed away, there’s an enormous 915-litre boot which is great for long trips away with a fair bit of luggage.
Range is also pretty decent, because you have a claimed 310 miles of range in the single and dual-motor small battery models. That shoots up to a very impressive 403 miles in models with the bigger battery. Despite its size, it’s easy to manoeuvre around town, and it has a suspension that absorbs bumps well. However, you will find the suspension a bit firm down country lanes.
