You can lease a Ford Puma Gen-E for less than £130 per month through Carwow Leasey.

The Ford Puma is the UK’s best-selling car in 2025 so far, and now there’s an all-electric version called the Gen-E. It looks pretty much the same as its petrol-powered sibling, but it’s even more practical thanks to a larger boot and an additional front boot.

It was also the first car to qualify for the full £3,750 government electric car grant, which means you can now snag one for a bargain price through Carwow Leasey.

Remember, you can buy a brand new or used car right here on Carwow. And you can sell your car, too. We’re here to help you through every step of your car-changing journey.

Ford Puma Gen-E leasing deals

You can lease a new Ford Puma Gen-E for £128 per month through Carwow Leasey, which is over two years with £1,829 up front and a mileage limit of 5,000 per year. That works out to around £4,900 in total.

By comparison, the much smaller and less practical Dacia Spring will cost you close to £6,000 over two years on similar terms, because it comes in at £171 per month.

Need more miles? Well you can double the allowance to 10,000 per year and it’ll still only cost you £153 per month with around £2,100 up front. That’s a proper bargain.

Why should you lease a Ford Puma Gen-E?

The Puma Gen-E looks pretty much the same as the petrol version, and this is no bad thing because it’s a funky-looking thing. You also get something called the “Mega Box”, which is basically a massive storage area underneath the boot floor.

It’s also great to drive, and it’s really efficient around town. That efficiency does drop on the motorway, and the Puma’s interior quality isn’t as good as a Peugeot E-2008’s, but with leasing prices being this low it’s very easy to look past these minor gripes.

Ford Puma Gen-E alternatives

Not sold on the Ford Puma Gen-E? Here are three alternatives to consider instead.

Renault 4 E-Tech

The Renault 4 is a great-looking electric SUV with a wicked interior, and it drives really well. It’s just not quite as cheap as the Ford to lease.

Cupra Born

If the Ford’s slightly low-rent interior puts you off, the Cupra Born has a much posher cabin. It’s also spacious and fun to drive but the infotainment system is a bit of a faff to use.

Skoda Elroq

The Ford Puma may have a massive boot, but the rear seats are a bit cramped. This isn’t something you can say about the Skoda Elroq, because it has a cavernous interior. It’s also really comfortable to drive, but the Puma is more fun.
