Car changing is a big deal
The MG4 is a brilliant electric car if you want good range and loads of equipment, and right now you can lease one through Carwow for just £208 per month while stocks last.
It’s hard to ignore the MG4 when shopping for an electric car, because the discounts available are insane. It’s not an expensive car to begin with at just over £27,000, but you can save an average of more than £9,000 on one through Carwow.
And it’s not cheap and nasty either, it’s a very good electric hatchback which is good to drive, well-equipped and has decent driving range. Carwow Leasey also has a great offer on the MG4 at the moment which makes it even more tempting.
Why is the MG4 a good car?
Before we get to the great deals on the MG4, why should you consider this car?

First off, it looks great. The angular bodywork and funky lights help it stand out against something like a Volkswagen ID3, and it looks smart inside as well with its layered dashboard and two-spoke steering wheel.
Cabin quality is also impressive for a car at this price point. All the things you touch and look at regularly are solid and plush, it’s surprisingly close to a Cupra Born considering the price.

Out on the road, the MG4 is fun to drive. The steering is sharp and direct, and the suspension does a great job of reducing bodyroll. It’ll also do up to 323 miles on a charge depending on the model, which is plenty for most people’s daily commutes.
MG4 leasing deals: grab this car for £208 per month
There are some great lease deals on the MG4 which make it even more appealing. Right now, through Carwow Leasey, you can get an MG4 for just £208 per month. This is on a four-year contract with an upfront payment of £2,781, and with a mileage limit of 5,000 per year.
To put that into context, a Volkswagen ID3 will cost you around £240 per month with a higher initial payment, and the Renault Megane E-Tech starts from just over £280 per month.

For your £208 per month you get the MG4 SE Long Range, and it comes with plenty of kit as standard. It has adaptive cruise control, a 10.3-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a digital driver’s display.
This version also has a respectable 281 miles of range, and the 203hp electric motor is more than powerful enough.
What should you consider before buying an MG4?
The MG4 is a great electric car, but it’s not perfect. Here are a few things to think about before you commit.
That 10.3-inch touchscreen is packed with features, but it’s not the easiest to use thanks to slightly confusing menus and a slightly laggy touchscreen. The system in a Renault Megane E-Tech is better to use.
That sporty styling also limits rear visibility, which can make tight manoeuvres a bit tricky. It also lets in a fair amount of road noise on the motorway, so a Volkswagen ID3 might be better if you’re looking for refinement.
However, the MG4 is so affordable that you can forgive these drawbacks. It’s a great option if you’re looking to get into an electric car without spending a fortune.
