Used Skywell cars overview

Skywell is yet another new Chinese brand that’s hit the UK market with an affordable electric SUV, but while that might sound tempting, we’d suggest you just don’t.

In fact, Skywell’s one and only model, the BE11, ranks as one of the worst cars we’ve ever tested at Carwow, and that was when it was brand, spanking new. What one might be like as a used car barely bears thinking about, but the good news is that you’ll struggle to find one on the second hand market, so small have new sales been.

On the upside, you get plenty of rear space, and a lengthy seven-year warranty, but the rest of the Skywell is just rubbish. It’s bad to drive, has a dreadfully cheap and nasty interior, and the touchscreen is close to unusable.

FAQs

In a word, no. The Skywell BE11 ranks as one of the worst cars Carwow has ever tested, so unless you’re getting one for free or something, we’d avoid (even if it does have a good seven year warranty, which is handy for a used car).

No, they’re really not. At least not so far. We’ve only tested one Skywell model, the BE11, but it’s almost comically bad, with awful handling, a hopeless touchscreen, and lousy cabin quality. Stay well away.
