This deal is for the Plus 73kWh model. If you paid full price, this Citroen would set you back £36,705. Buy through Carwow, and that drops to £31,640. Plus spec sits in the middle of the range. I think it strikes a good balance of price and equipment with 19-inch alloys, dual-zone air conditioning, LED interior lighting and a rear-view parking camera.
New Citroen e-C5 Aircross: review in brief
The e-C5 Aircross looks great and there’s a lot of space inside for five. There are some hard interior plastics, and the infotainment is a bit fiddly, but otherwise there’s not much to criticise inside the cabin.
To drive, the Citroen is all about comfort. The suspension is supple, and with electric power the Aircross is quiet and smooth. In official tests it will do 322 miles on a charge.
If you want an exciting drive, look elsewhere, but I reckon the e-C5 Aircross is a great choice for school runs and daily commutes.
New Citroen e-C5 Aircross alternatives
MG S5 EV: The S5 is more fun to drive than the e-C5 Aircross, but not as comfortable.
Renault Scenic E-Tech: The Scenic is a long range and it’s very efficient, but the suspension is less plush than the Citroen’s.
Vauxhall Grandland Electric: Perhaps it’s a bit of a bland choice, but the Grandland is a solid EV contender with a practical and well-made cabin.
