Three pickup trucks are subjected to six off-road challenges to decide which is the best when taken away from the tarmac. Watch the video below to see the results: First up is the Ford Ranger Wildtrak. It comes with a 2.0-litre, turbocharged, four-cylinder engine that produces 213hp and 500Nm of torque. Not only that, but it has a ten-speed automatic gearbox, a ground clearance of 23cm and a wading depth of 80cm.
All pretty impressive, but the Volkswagen Amarok may have its number. After all, this pickup has a turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 engine. All in all, it produces 204hp and 500Nm of torque. It also has an eight-speed automatic gearbox, 23cm of ground clearance and a wading depth of 50cm.
