Drag race: Ford Mustang GT500 vs Mercedes SLS Black Series

It’s time for a face-off of German horsepower against American horsepower, as the Ford Mustang takes of the Mercedes SLS
Let’s start off with the Ford Mustang GT500. It has a 5.2-litre supercharged V8 with 760hp and 850Nm of torque, driving the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. It’s a touch heavy though, weighing in at 1,900kg.
The Mercedes SLS Black Series weighs 1,550kg. It has a 6.2-litre naturally-aspirated V8 with 631hp and 630Nm of torque. This drives the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox.
