Representing the internal combustion engine, we have a Porsche 911 Turbo S. It has a twin-turbocharged flat-six engine putting out 650hp and 800nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. It’s also the lightest car here, weighing in at 1,640kg.
The Porsche Taycan Turbo S tips the scales at 2,295kg, but it does have more power – 761hp to be precise. It also has 1,050nm of torque and all-wheel drive. Electric cars tend to manage their power well in the wet, which may give the Taycan an advantage.
So which will come out on top? You’ll have to watch the video to find out.
