How do you match an absolutely ballistic Lamborghini Huracan in a carwow drag race? Well, today, there’s a motorbike to try and do that.
Obviously, we’re not talking about any old motorbike. Lining up today is the Kawasaki H2 R, a £60,000 superbike with a four-cylinder, 1,000cc engine. It puts out 310HP and 165NM of torque.
More importantly, that equates to 1,054hp per tonne with its 294kg weight (including the rider). There’s no doubt then that this is one bonkers bike, but then it would have to be to match today’s bonkers Huracan
Enter the Lamborghini Huracan. Like the Kawasaki, this isn’t your standard sports car, as it’s been overhauled by JM Imports — including the addition of two gargantuan turbochargers. As a result, it kicks out 1,100hp and 1,000nm of torque.
With 759hp per tonne, it may seem like the car is at a disadvantage. However, the Lamborghini should put its power down better, as it has a clever four-wheel-drive system — with its grunt delivered through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
Meanwhile, the H2 R sends everything through its thin rear tyre, and with a huge reliance on rider skill.
A tough one to call then, so who comes out on top? Well, you’ll have to watch the video to find out…
