What happens when you pit three of the hottest track-focused supercars on the planet together in a drag race? Well, that’s one for carwow to answer.
First up is a Ferrari F8 Tributo. It has a 3.9-litre V8 engine with two turbochargers putting out 720hp and 770nm of torque. This goes to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. In terms of weight, this prancing horse tips the scales at 1,435kg.
That’s slightly heavier than the McLaren 765 LT, as it weighs in at 1,339kg. To sling it down the ¼ mile it has a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 with 765hp and 800nm of torque. This goes through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic to the rear wheels.
Finally, we have the Porsche 911 GT2 RS. It has a 3.8-litre flat-6 engine fitted with twin-turbos, meaning it has 700hp and 750nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and sends power to the rear wheels. It is the heaviest car here at 1,470kg, but having that engine slung out over the rear wheels may give it an advantage off the line.
So which of these exotic supercars will come out on top? You’ll have to watch the video to find out.
