Is a used Lexus RX a good car?
The Lexus RX makes for a good, left-field choice in the premium SUV market. One of its best features is its upmarket interior. The materials are high-quality, the seats are comfortable, and the cabin is quiet.
The RX also rides smoothly and comfortably, even over rougher surfaces. It's well-insulated from wind and road noise, so you can enjoy a quiet and relaxing ride. However, the trade-off for this is that it’s not that exciting on a twisty road.
On top of this, the RX comes standard with a variety of advanced safety features, including a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control. These features can help you avoid accidents and keep you safe on the road.
If you regularly carry people in the back, you might find they complain as it can be a bit cramped back there over longer journeys. The sloping roof eats into headroom while the narrow body means shoulder room is poor with three in the back. The boot isn’t the most spacious, either.

On top of this, getting the car serviced at a trusted Toyota mechanic every year can extend the warranty by one year and 10,000 miles each time, up to 10 years. Proof that Lexus trusts its product.
As a result, you’ll just want to conduct the usual used car buying checks. Make sure there are receipts for any work that has been carried out, and go over the car to check for any signs of damage to the interior, bodywork or wheels and tyres.
